We are still working on the numbers, dates and distribution for the 2007 gamedayritual Football Champion's League teams. However we can report that to date we've had a strong response, and we'll make every effort to accommodate all who have expressed interest.
In general, we're trying to keep these leagues as 'clean' as possible, with a more 'traditional' set of gamedayritual rules. Here are some of the highlights:
FireSales: Yes
FAB OtM Length: 24 hours
FAB Blackout: Yes
Non-FAB Transaction Period: 24 hours
FAB Rounds (returning leagues only - none in 2007): 3
FAB Days (new leagues - all for 2007): 6
FAB Event Speed: 'Fast' (3 min)
Contract Extensions (returning leagues only - none in 2007): 3 years total, 2 max
We will provide more details as they become available, and look forward to getting the 2007 gamedayritual Football Champion's League rolling!

What are the Champion's Leagues?
Welcome to the inaugural season of gamedayritual Football Champion's Leagues! We have been running the MLB.com gamedayritual Baseball Champion's Leagues since our Baseball 2006 season, and have decided to kick-off the concept for Football in 2007.
The Champion's Leagues are open to gamedayritual users that managed league winning teams during the previous season, but for our inaugural 2007 season we will include league winning teams from both 2005 and 2006. As such, you can be certain that you will be competing against the "best of the best" in gamedayritual.
The rules are simple. If you finish the previous Champions League season with a .500 record or better you may stay in the league for the following season for free. If you fall below this mark your team will be awarded to another eligible GM from the pool of league winners - its play or be played at this level.*
(* We will provide sub 0.500 GM's with the option to buy their way back into the Champion's league by re-purchasing their teams in 2008.)
In exchange for participation in the Champion's League, we will respectfully ask that owners of Champion's League teams attempt maintain a "blog" of their experiences, strategies and insights. That is the purpose of this web space. GM's in the Champions Leagues are the "experts" of gamedayritual, so their shared experience is exciting to follow along with, and aspire to.
Eligible gamedayritual Football GM's will be contacted in the July/August-2007 time frame with participation details.
